Every now and then, I DJ for fun. This mixtape series, however, has a bit more purpose beyond just ear candy.

Mix #1. Nightingale’s SpacedHouse
Set to the voiceover of the “Duke of Self Development,” Earl Nightingale. His 1956 masterpiece, “The Strangest Secret,” a book and spoken word record (one of the first audiobooks?), has influenced and inspired myriads of people to begin their self-development and entrepreneurial journey. It contains some of the greatest gems for quotable phrases, such as “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal,” and “You are what you think about.” Give a listen and keep a notebook handy.
One of the most interesting spiritual leaders of this day has to be “Abraham" Hicks, the pseudonym for Esther Hicks, motivational speaker and co-author with her late husband Jerry Hicks. Abraham Hicks is the pre-eminent authority on the concept of the “Law of Attraction,” a philosophy of manifestation simply summed up as “like attracts like”, and upon which the 2006 hit docu-drama “The Secret” was based.
