A VR-powered artist collective based in NYC exploring the intersection of technology and culture by producing exhibitions, nightlife events, original content, and immersive experiences.
Created original concept and recruited original members for a new media collective loosely based around the Fluxus art movement, of which Nam June Paik is a most notable member. INFLUX is an artist collective in which each artist collaborates with another artist from another medium, such as video and music - all multimedia and multidisciplinary members. The group began to throw events to showcase their experimental work and introduce VR within a social context at NYC venues, big and small. The immersive events involved audience members as participants of the creation of content itself, through video and game interaction, 3D mapping, and providing atmosphere. The captured footage, 3D models, and original artwork later became part of the evergreen online content created perpetually, in a version of beautiful decay. Created branding/identity, website design, promotions. Produced nightlife events, recruited teams, brought in sponsorships and venue partners.
